Forbes recently published an article entitled “The Next In-Demand Job Title: Head of the Future of Work,” which details the rise of job titles focused on remote or hybrid work, and the need for businesses to adapt to the rapidly approaching future of work.
According to data that was provided to Forbes by LinkedIn, job titles concerning the future of work were up 60%, and job titles that made reference to hybrid work rose a staggering 304% since the pandemic began. Additionally, job titles focused on culture, flexibility and wellness saw a boost, such as a 20% increase in jobs relating to flexible work and a 13% increase for titles related to a company’s culture and overall welfare.
This trend was also seen in the world of job postings, where ads that made reference to work flexibility have risen an impressive 83% since 2019.
As shown by these numbers, it’s become clear that both hybrid work and working from home are here to stay, and it’s critical that a company’s leadership is prepared to take the necessary steps to ensure their continued relevance as the realm of work continues to change and evolve.
